I need help with my Toshiba Satellite X205-SLi1 notebook that I had bought since December. I had freshly used the provided Toshiba recovery disk to erase everything on my hard drive because I had encounter many errors before. Once I had done that, I reinstalled the Windows Vista Home Premium back onto the Toshiba on the provided CD given when bought. It had installed successfully but I had encountered one problem. I noticed that one of my hard drives went missing. My whole 110 GB was missing. I am wondering where the missing hard drive went. Do you know how to fix this problem? thank you for helping me.

and one more thing, where can you buy the recent intel Penryn chips?

I would recommend you open the two hard drive covers and reseat the hard drives in case the drive moved and after that go into the bios and make sure the drive is being recognized by the bios.

I was able to fix the problem by using Acronis Disk Director. Any Partionaing software compatible with Vista will do. Even easier if it works would be to Right-Click on "My Computer" select "Manage" and select "Disk Management"

All X205's support Penryn T8xxx, T9xxx (1st Generation, Socket P) as well as the older 65nm Meroms (T5xxx, T7xxx.) I believe that the fastest proc. you will ever be able to get is the X9000, unless they make an even faster Santa Rosa compatible chip with 800MHz FSB, or the chipset somehow supports 1066 FSB.
