I believe my Q885 came with 4GB on two sticks, but is it 1066 or 1333? I recall hearing that they did sneak some 1333 in but never updated the spec sheet.
This model comes with only two RAM slots, right?
I assume that I'd have to replace both sticks and if I do, should I stick with 1066 or go to 1333? Also I assume that I will have to jump to 8GB and not 6GB?
Just some early morning thoughts. lol

From the spec sheet from Toshiba:
The newer models also come configured with RAM at 1066 (I am looking at the Q896 and Q893 spec sheets), so I doubt the Q885 ever got the 1333 memory.
How come you want to upgrade? I would think 4GB is more than enough for most users. Is your Qosmio slowing down? -
I guess I was confusing this lappy for the Asus I was looking at.
I don't "need" more ram, but more is nice to have. It's not something I am actively pursuing. Just curious and if I saw a great deal. Plus I like to multi-task, I like to have a browser up, a game and some music and maybe that paper I am supposed to be working on! lol
I've got some "RAMN" questions!
