I'm looking for a cheap solution to get a good travelling machine at a very low budget.
I can find both z830 and r830 sold locally between 200 and 250€, and they have all the features I would like, except one: the screen.
Is there any chance to be able to upgrade the standard screen to a better one? IPS type with close to 100% coverage of rgb gamut, possibly full hd, but I would be happy enough also with HD if still good colors and angles.
I couldn't find any posistive answer over the web.
What I got is that I can do it for sure, if the same model was offered with that option, otherwise I could have problems with the video cable or the BIOS not supporting the new screen.
Anyone succeeded or knows that it's possible for sure?
    Thank you!
