Initial questions regarding Satellite Z930-10X

My new Toshiba Satellite Z930-10x arrived yesterday and I'm very pleased with it. As this is my first Toshiba laptop I have some initial questions mainly revolving around installation of windows 7, etc that I'm hoping some of you folks may be able to answer.

I want like to wipe the laptop completely and install Windows 7 Ultimate as it currently has home edition on it.

Does anyone know if you need to download drivers from the website or does Windows have everything covered?

If downloads are necessary is there a particular order in which the drivers should be installed?

 

You probably have to install drivers form the Toshiba UK website after installing Windows 7 Ultimate.

I would download all the drivers onto a USB drive or DVD prior to performing a clean install.

As for the order, I'm not really sure [as I have never done a clean install]. I found some general guidelines on a Toshiba US site, but nothing that gives the definite order.

Just a quick update really, Windows 7 ultimate is installed and all features are working just as they should be.

After a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate there are a number of devices that are 'Unknown' which require Toshiba drivers and thankfully Toshiba have given them pretty recognizable file names instead of some arbitrary number/code so installing them was straight forward.

If anyone would like a list of the drivers needed I'd be happy to post.

All in all I'm a very happy new Satellite owner.
