I have a Toshiba Satellite X205 S9800 that came with Vista Home Premium. I find the Vista OS to be a pain and want to install XP Professional instead. I read a couple of posts that said XP installed and worked fine, but as soon as I get to the point of installation I get a message that says no hard drives can be detected. How do I get beyond this?

You need to use this sata driver as part of the xp install, by using F6 and directing to this file saved somewhere you can access when loading xp
