    Hello guys,

I just purchased a 1GB Ram it is that one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145593

I installed it the right way in the second slot, I have a 512 MB Toshiba memory pc2-4200s 533 mhz in the first slot

Well the PC didnt turn on, it refused to turn ON in all cases where the 2 RAMS are installed. IT only turned ON in the case where 1 is only installed in the 1st slot specifically.

    Any help?

try to contact the manufacturer or the store you bought your pc from because that is something your note book shouldnt do.
THey either run a ram or not (if it is incompatible)
