    Hey guys,

I want to replace the wireless card in my Toshiba A665 because the one I currently have, Broadcom BCM4314 or something is utter crap! It's a combo card with bluetooth and the Intel 6230 is a combo card.

Just wondering if anyone's done a wireless card replacement in their Toshiba and if it's worked? Do Toshiba even have a whitelist?

If anyone has got this specific card, how is it? Heard mixed reports on these forums so.

Hmm, I guess it should work for mine then. Thanks.

I'll just risk it and go for it.

Darn, no one's selling any production models of the 6230, I guess it's 6200 then.

No there are sources selling the 6230. I just bought one from buy.com & installed it on my Toshiba r835-p56x & it is much better than the original one. But be sure to install intel 6230 software which includes the drivers jimjoh
