    Internet connection problems

    Hello Everyone! I am new here, as of today, and I have a problem. I have a Toshiba Satellite (yeah, I know) and have problems connecting to the internet.

    I boot up my laptop and wait for it to the main screen. It finds a wireless connection, and as soon as I click "connect", it then takes my laptop AT LEAST 1/2 hour to make the connection. (It rarely times out.)

    Can anyone help me with this problem, or tell me where to look so I can figure this out?

    I appreciate any and all comments.
