Just wondering if I'm fighting a losing battle here. I've got a P205-7469 and I'm not recognizing HD-DVD's at all (in xp pro sp2). The crappy part is that I didn't think to test them in Vista before down grading. I've read a few complaints about dead hd dvd capability out of the box (in Vista) so now that's got me wondering if xp is the problem or the optical drive is bad.

Thanks in advance for any help.
