Is it safe to rollback the A300 with the XP disc it came with?

    Hi,
This question might sound REALLY basic to most of you, but I am a very new user and this is our family's very first notebook and I don't want to stuff things up. The A300 laptop we bought was preloaded with Vista, but it came with a rollback to XP disc. After a week of struggling with learning to use the finger mouse on the notebook AND trying to work out how to find my way around with vista, I've decided we definitely need to go back to XP (no one in our family, not even me is ready for vista). However I'm scared to put the XP rollback disk in in case there are any hidden traps and we end up with a laptop that doesn't work on XP or Vista. Has anyone ever rolled back the Tosiba A300 with the XP disc that came with their machine or heard any horror stories before I take the plunge. Thanks
