Okay from the reasonable price and good specs im thinking about buying the toshiba a300/m00. But when i search it up i can barely get any info on this one so im kinda worried that its not that good. Also in the specs section it says there is no modem in the connection part so what does that mean?

My understanding is the A300 is a custom cofigured version of the A305 (at least in the US). So if you read the A305 reviews I think you will find out a lot about this laptop. I have the custom configured A300-ST4004 with a 2.4 GHz Intel Chip and it is overall pretty good. The fan runs a lot on mine though - so I need to get it into the shop for a look. The battery life isn't great (mine has a 6 cell). I get under 2 hours. Vista is OK - some good aspects, but I get occasional freezes that require system shutdown.
