Hey, I'm just wondering...for a desktop replacement, how is the P-105?
Do any of you guys have it? I wanna hear the goods and bads.
Most importantly, is the build sturdy, what is it made out of? Keyboard flexing? Case flexing?
Here's what I'm expecting from the Toshiba P-105:
- glossy, uniform, perfect 17" LCD
- rock-solid build.
- graphics performance (7900GS)
I found one for $1899 on Amazon

Hope this is really nice, as I'm looking for an indestructible tank

If you're going to just use it as a desktop replacement and not travel with it too much, I think it should be fine. However, I would look elsewhere if you're going to be traveling with it more than once a month.

Ok.
How's the keyboard? I went to Fry's today and touched one of the P105's. When I pressed down on the G or H keys, the flexing was obvious.
seems worse than a dell keyboard from that experience...
Is the Toshiba Satellite P-105 good?
