I'm interested in buying a Tecra A7-243 to use for live music performing.
But I read differen't horror story where people are having problems when the fan kicks in.
This same thing is also true with my current Dell inspiron8200, but I have a little app which controls the fans.
I was wondering if such a program also exists for Toshiba notebooks?

I believe Speedfan would work for those notebooks, although I am not sure.

The fan performance can be set in the Toshiba Power Saver Utility which should appear in the system tray. It is very configurable.
