    Hi guys

    Just wondering if it's worth me getting laptop over my current one, would i alot more performance?

    Satellite L650-1PQ - Product Specifications - Toshiba

    Toshiba L650-1PQ

    I5-480 2.6 GHz
    4GB DDR3 1066MHz
    ATI 5650 1024mb

    My machine:

    T8100 2.1 GHz 3mb
    4GB DDR2 RAM 666mhz
    9600M GT 512mb DDR3

    Thats like 1% performance to 100% performance.

    i5 = 2 cores 4 threats (higher clock 2.6ghz and have boost technology)
    Graphic card way mor powerfull, just check benchmarks on notebookreview.

    DDR3, a bit mor improved from the normal DDR2.

    Go for it.

    My first question would be what are you using your current laptop to do?

    And don't worry about the many views and no replies ... that's common sometimes. :)

    Mycanid, i would be mainly using it for gaming, graphic/web design, photoshop etc and multimedia, watching HD material, .MKV's, XBMC etc.

    My current laptop does most of this fine, just the gaming area isn't so great.... i don't want massive frame rates in games etc, just enough for playability, in say 1280x720 reso with medium settings.

    Would suffice?
