Got my M9 and I've been putting it thru its paces, which included a total discharge of the high capacity 12cell battery last night. This morning, I plugged the provided adapter (75w) in and let it charge. I've had the machine plugged in and turned on for 8 full hours now sitting mostly at idle, and the charge indicator in Vista only shows a charge of 56%!![]()
Is that typical? What are my options? I mean, that's insane... and totally non functional for business use.
I see a 90w adapter is available, but that isn't going to make a huge difference... any thoughts??

tryed 2x clicking the indicater and checking it there or restarting it may need to update itself thru 1 of those 2 ways

I turned it off about 45 minutes ago and left it charging. I'll turn it on again in 15 minutes and see what a full hour of off time gets me. Right now, my math has the charge rate at (assuming a linear charge rate, which it seemed to be)
56(the ending charge) - 3(the start charge) / 8 hours = 6.6% per hour. It would take 15 hours to fully charge at that rate.
Maybe there's something wrong with this particular notebook/adapter/battery? -
Wow something is wonky. In the hour I had it powered down put plugged in, according to Vista, the charge went from 56 to 92%. Weird thing is, I powered down a few times during the 8 hours, but did fire right back up.
Any thoughts?
Is this charging time typical?
