Bought a new P740 with Toshiba telling me it had Widi support and it does not have it. Now the intel graphics won't work correctly with my HP monitor since it recognizes it as a digital TV and it overscans the crap out of it. I fixed that part with scaling options but the text looks like crap. After talking to Intel, they are aware of the problem but no fix on drivers. So now I have a 900 dollar laptop that I have no other option then to use the VGA. And even though Toshiba has documentation that they did tell me I had widi support, they won't let me return the system.
Anyway, I updated the intel drivers and monitor drivers... no go. Intel told me they are aware of the issue but have no upgraded driver yet. Now I am wishing I stayed with HP since they have better support and basic things like connecting a monitor with hdmi work.
I had to build the system to order since I could not find it locally at the time with the options I wanted. But CTO systems from Toshiba systems have horrible return policies. The laptop itself is really nice. I just can't believe the hdmi issues I am having with it.

Yeah, not thrilled with Intel graphics support myself. I have a HP netbook that can't handle 1440X900 (pretty standard for 19") out the VGA port. A search indicates that it is a well known problem being ignored by Intel.
Sure glad I ordered a ordered the non-Intel GPU for my Toshiba notebook!
