I am not the most savvy or literate person when it comes to computers. But I was given this laptop, so if it's do-able I would love to fix it. It was originally bought off QVC, when turned on for the first time it sounded as if a key was stuck...(continous beeping) I personally only saw it turned on 1x, the next time my friend tried to turn it on- no go. I haven't opened the laptop, but unfortunately most of the screws are missing. So I can only assume my friend thought he was a comp. guru. I realize this is vague- Does this even sound like a possibility of operating again? Can you kill a laptop by using incorrect screws? Any help or ideas would be most appreciated
