I'm on my new Toshiba A210-11P now and it's amazing! I've installed some of the crap that gets installed on startup but it is such an amazing laptop. I've just installed Toshiba TEMPO and there are several driver updates including a graphics driver update! I've not even installed anything yet apart from the Razer software lol. The download for the display driver is extremely slow, near enough dead. So gotta a lot of waiting, no games yet!!!

Yeah, I downloaded the Graphics driver update a few days ago, the transfer rate was only 12kb/s during the day. So I downloaded it around midnight/early morning and the transfere speed was 45kb/s, which is still a lot slower than my connection, but at least it didn't take 3 hours which was estimated at 12kb/s. The update's worth it though, my Windows Experience Index score for the GPU went from 4.7 to 4.8, Half Life 2 no longer has problems with lighting and the Crysis menu in DX9 now runs smoothly.

It's good to hear you're pleased with it. What have you had to uninstall? I though there was minimal bloatware; just Norton, SMS Desktop, some photo album utility and a video. Did you get a Vista reinstall disc with yours?

Yeh the transfer rate totally sucks! Having to leave it overnight to download. There was loads of crap, Norton, Desktop SMS, myphotobook, Office 2007 Trial, Works, tons of stuff lol. I got a Toshiba re-install disc, same thing I think. It really is a great laptop though. One problem I am though is with the keyboard, I'm struggling to get used to it with Deus Ex at least.
