    Hi all!

I've recently bought a Tecra A3X from a rebates sites. It works perfect. Some day ago I discovered that the "," key has an issue. It seems that "," key remains allways pressed and hold though nobody is touching it.

This is not an operating system or software issue as the notebook beeps 3 or 4 times every time you turn it on (as if you were pressing and holding a key) and then proceeds to load windows normally.

I confirmed that the "," key is permanently writing and endless series of ",,,,," to the keyborad buffer because I left a notepad open, then hibernated the notebook and when I turned it on again and windows restored the system, the notepad showed an endless ",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,," that only stops when you press any other key.

Thinking on a keyboard issue, I dismounted the keyboard from de nb and verified connections and cleanness of the "," key and found nothing. Then re-assembled everything and the issue continues to appear. Another test that I made was connecting a USB external keyboard and the "," key does it good.

Keyboard issue? controller or motherboard issue?
Anyone out there with the same problem ever? Any suggestions?
Unfortunately the nb is out of warranty. What can I do?

    Thanx very much in advance.
    JK
