    I have a Satellite Laptop.

No problems with the machine until last night I found that I had lost the full stop and comma function. Pressing a J produced nothing. A capitol L was fine a small case L produced a symbol that was a little like an upside down L, the upstroke was long with a short stroke to the left at the top!!

No knock, no liquid faults... everything changed. the only thing I can think of is that I accidentally pressed a combo' of keys and changed teh configuration. The Lap top is set for the right country (UK) language etc.

I would goto start, click run, type msconfig - then enter system restore, and restore your configuration to a previous one, if that doesn't help, does pressing keys start programs in your computer atm?

System restore was not helpful I tried that very quickly.
All functions I tried including starting programs worked.

Might be a virus or something, just a thought
