Is there a power setting to prolong the keyboard backlight to stay on for a longer time period when plugged in? I've searched and can't find one.

    Thanks

    Edit:

Never mind...found it. It's in the Toshiba utility HW Set up.

I tried Googling it but found nothing. I am going to do some digging and see what I can find out for you.

Edit: Found it! Here is what you have to do: Go to the Start Menu, then All Programs then click on Toshiba, then Utilities, then HW Setup. Go to the Illumination Tab, and the setting is in the section that says Keyboard Backlight I just confirmed that it works by changing my keyboard backlight to 30 seconds. It does require a reboot, however, but obviously that isn't a big deal. I do suggest you SAVE any work, though. lol When I did this, it forced closed all my IE tabs and a few other programs I was running.

Edit#2: D'oh! I didn't see your edit before editing my post.

Thanks anyway CV...you da bomb ;)
I changed it so it's always on...if I need to be on the batt for an extended amount of time, simple enough to change back.
