    Keyboard stuck a bios

    OK, the title may sound a bit confusing. But here is my story. My latest project is a Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527 laptop. A friend of mine asked me to fix it because he said his computer wouldn't boot up. Well, upon booting it up it says the start up screen where it explains "Press [F2] for SETUP Press [F8] for BOOT MENU" and whatnot. Well instead of it saying that, it says "Press [F2] for SETUP, Entering boot device selection menu ..." and it flashes as if it loading. I know the keyboard is connected to the mother board because if I push the space bar or any number or selects of 5 or more keys the Boot Menu pos up and it list the "Built-in HDD1 TOSHIBA ..." and under that it says "CD/DVD ..." and then under that is says the "LAN" option and then to end the list it says "<Enter Setup>". I cannot select anything because at this point none of the keys are working. I am thinking the rubber part of the key is stuck underneath. But i am not to sure. Anyone know how I can fix this? I need to hurry because he is using the laptop for school and is about to start in a matter of days.

    I have found a guide how to get the keyboard out. And I got it. But even with the keyboard out the only buttons that are working are the number "4" button and the space bar. Plus other buttons are acting as the space bar. What are the chances of a keyboard going out?

    not sure if this helps, but can you try using a USB keyboard or PS2 keyboard ?
