We had the LCD replaced on this L25 back in July '06 because it had a red line running down the middle of the screen. It was out of warranty and Toshiba repaired it for no charge, but I doubt they'll do that again.

Now it has become unreadable with scrolling horizontal lines on the top part of the display and vertical bars. I can wiggle the screen and the pattern will change. Sometimes you can even make out the Windows XP logon screen. An external monitor works fine.

Does anyone know what's causing this problem? Is it the LCD again or something else this time?
