    Hey,

I have a little (well, big actually) issue regarding my new LCD I got installed. The previous one was smashed after grabbing onto the LCD to pick up the laptop and purchased a replacement one. I've replaced many screens before, so I kinda know what I'm doing.

Problem is, when I installed it, it was all fine and dandy, then I noticed the colours were going all odd, like on black colours it would have red dots throughout it, and in the green, it would be really saturated, red also displayed black dots or lines through it...

I've reinstalled Windows, reinstalled the drivers, installed Windows 8 CP and Windows 7 Pro, nothing changes, except when I go into the Colour Management and change the profile, I get some results there, but none that are fantastic/fix the issue completely.

Greys are also displayed as blue...

Is this a problem with the display or the laptop?? I'm no good with displays/GPU's so I can't really say. lol. I'll attach an image of whats happening on the green. :)

    Many thanks in advance. :)

Have you tested an external monitor?
Usually if the external monitor looks ok, then the GPU is ok; meaning the problem is the LCD screen itself or something that has to do with the screen.

I see what you mean in the picture, it does look very odd.

Keep us updated and good luck

Sorry, should have added I plugged it into an external monitor, and all is OK on that.

    Thanks for your reply.
