Looking for a guide on LCD LED screen removal for a Toshiba L655-S5075.

Found a good price at ScreenCountry for the replacement and will be express shipping for about $25.

This is for a guy in the ARMY that is getting deployed in a week or so to Afghanistan. Any quick help to get this fixed and back to him before he leaves so he can Skype with his family would be great!!!

Its standard procedure to replace a L655's screen. Take of the rubber bumpers around the lid bezel(generally 4-6) Underneath there are screws, take them out. The bezel pops off, and underneath is the screen. It is held in place by screws on the side. Take the side screws out, and lay the screen done on the keyboard. This allows you to unplug the LCD cable. You're done!

Yea, Toshiba's are pretty easy. I've done one before, but damn those hinge covers are a PITA. Got the right hinge cover on the bezel to slide off, but the left one is hanging up.

Once I got to putting it back together I somehow got the left hinge cover to slide out. Much easier to get the screws back in!

Done deal and going to Afghanistan. One way I can help support our troops.
