I created all 5 recovery disks but somehow disk #2 became corrupt or possibly was a bad burn. The recover partition also no longer exists. Can anyone help? I hate to spend $40 when all I need is the one disk.

Probably not. People can't just have a L755D, but they also need the S5204, which narrows your search considerably.

I feel your pain, but might be best to get from Toshiba; unless someone can chime in soon.
