I have a Toshiba MS45-S269 laptop, My screen started to have problms and is getting worse,
The problem I am having is my screen starts to white out and gose blank, I hook up a external LCD monitor and having no problems, is it my screen or is it the inverter. Any suggestons or help would be great

If the LCD goes black (as in the opposite of white), then the inverter is a likely suspect. Or the CCFL just died.

If the LCD goes white and the external video output is still fine, then the LCD is suspect.

If the LCD goes white and the external video output is also funked up, then the laptop is suspect.
