    Can anyone tell me if all A205 models are virtyually the same?


    I ask because i'm looking for a duplicate power chord to make my portable laptop more well "portable".

    I see on ebay power chords for A205 this and that but no S5812 presumably becasue its a new model. Any suggestions or advice?

    Do you mean power CORD?
    If yes, all you need to do to buy another power adapter is to match the voltages, which I believe is 19.5V(check your label on bottom of laptop).
    Amps doesn't really matter.

    Thanks so much Allan. I thought the same until I went looking online. i found similar Satalite laptops power cords all being 19.5v but had differnt serial numbers. You think Toshiba does this so we have to pay the higher price for some when the different seriual number cords are actually one of the same?

    Hello, sorry but i need some help.... urgently... i dont know how can i do to downgrate vista to xp sp2 from a toshiba satellite A205-S5803 , i have really a big problem `cause i cant... I get an error that can not find the hard drive and only makes me f3 to leave the instalation and nothing more, What can i do now.

    You need a SATA Floppy image driver from Toshiba's website.
    Then use Winimage to extract it to your floppy if you have one, usb should work too.

    well, hello sorry but I really dont know how to use this thing. I appreciate a little more help like a dumps... cause i dont understand the program... how can i do de image or better say where?.
