    Hi Guys

I recently bought a new toshiba satellite x200 where the monitor had major light leakage.

When i sended in to the service partner in denmark for repair they exchanged it to a new schreen that also had light leakage, but this time not that bad.

I only notice it on dark backgrounds or when seeing dvd movies where you have the black bars at the top and buttom of the schreen.

Is light leakage covered by the waranty and to which degree ?

The service partner told me that they couldn't do more about it becourse they changed the schreen already.

I attached a image of the leakage on the new schreen, so if you could have a look and post your comments if this is normal or if its something i should contact toshiba about.

    Hope to get some feedback.

    Thx a lot

I've seen much worse than that. But not on my Toshiba notebook.

Does "i have seen worse" mean that i would live with it, or would you complain about it ?

It's a heavy laptop thats sold advertising how good it is for games, home entertaiment etc....
