    Hi,
when the laptop (TOSHIBA T135-SP2910C with the touchpad issue too :( ) is turned on I see a light through the casing in the back of the screen.

Here is a few pictures of the laptop showing it:

I never realized this and I'm really angry ... furthermore I am waiting for the piece replacement for the touchpad problem.

an LCD does not have any light in its back. Besides usually there is a layer of material (usually aluminum foil) between a screen and the lead.

What you have here must be something else.

Do you see any imprefections on the white screen?

This has nothing to do how with how old laptop is...
But as long as you dont see any problems on actual screen, I would'nt worry too much.
Most likely, some light from LCD backlight is reflecting from rear of the screen (which is aluminium-foil like). Personally I would'nt bother with replacement just for that.
You can confirm that this is reflected backlight, if you try to change screen brightness and see if it affects brightness of this lit patch.

Is it too late to get a complete replacement? Most retailers give 30 days for a replacement in the event you have problems.

I purchased a Toshiba last year and the keyboard keys were not flush, they were more on an angle and I was afraid they could break off. I decided not to call Toshiba but instead I called the retailer and they swapped out the laptop. It was either that or I was getting a refund.

I would get it replaced or repaired under warranty.
Even if it's not a major problem (which we don't know because there might be other issues but the lighted area is the only problem we can see right now) you paid good money for it and a new machine should be flawless.
It is also a good idea to get it repaired in case you sell this laptop in a few years and somebody won't buy it because of this minor problem which might be a big one to others.

some lcd back will leak light through the thin plastic with sheet. not all lcd have foil back. Look like the lcd housing maybe very thin from manufacture. either return the machine or have someone put some foil on the inside of the lcd housing to block the light. no danger or any harm the way it is. just a bit thin on the plastic housing.
