Hey guys,
Hopefully there are some toshiba ubuntu gurus out here to help me.
I just installed Ubuntu as a dual boot with my Windows Vista, and ive noticed that my laptop is alot warmer than when i use windows.
Just from physically touching the palm rests or touchpad i can tell that its alot warmer, but when i run sensors i get:
acpitz-virtual-0
Adapter: Virtual device
temp1: +57.0°C (crit = +104.0°C)
coretemp-isa-0000
Adapter: ISA adapter
Core 0: +50.0°C (high = +100.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
coretemp-isa-0001
Adapter: ISA adapter
Core 1: +52.0°C (high = +100.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
as my idle temperatures.
Is this high/bad? Do i have any options to try and cool my cores down? Or check if my fans are working correctly?
Cheers.

they are a little warm - but not enough to worry about. Have you checked your fans - do they have any dust in them?

My fan's are ok (no dust).
But i just logged into windows for a moment, and when i put my hand near the fans i can feel them working.
But when im in ubuntu, i can barely feel any air around the fans.
