1) I notice a lot of ppl replacing the graphics drivers that came with the laptop with drivers from laptopvideo2go.com. Is this because the toshiba drivers have flaws and should be swapped out, or is it just for enhanced performance in games?
2) I also saw a lot of posts about problems with the HD-DVD player/software not playing a lot of HD-DVD movies for older editions (X205-S9XXX series). Is this still a problem with the SLI series?
3) Currently the best deal for the SLi4 that I see is at Costco.com ($2099). Anyone know of any better deal online or locally (Orange County, CA)? Any foreseeable deals coming up? Easter sale?
Thanks.

We use the drivers from laptopvideo2go.com cause games like Crysis, COD4, Bioshock need at least 163.44 driver to work properly and Toshiba is at 156.44, one note is when you use these drivers which are not whql certified the Toshiba HD DVD software will not work if you are running Vista and I also could not get PowerDVD Ultra to work either, but PowerDVD will work if you decide to install XP and I have not had the problem playing older DVD's that was a problem with the Toshiba HD DVD software and they did put out and updated version that fixed this problem. I live in Hawhorne and the Costco is the best deal I have seen in the area so far and I would say get it there.

Ugh i'm so pissed that I bought my X205-SLi4 less than a month ago for $2349 like a day before the HD-DVD news and now its $2100. Well anyway you will definitely like it if you do actually buy it. The speakers sound awesome (like a 2.1 set) and you will get like at least 7000 points in 3DMark 06.

I am very happy with my sli1 and I get about 8800 points on 3DMark06 on it with the T7700 cpu that I put in it a couple months back, if I overclock the video cards to 600/850 then I get 9254 points.
Looking to buy X205-SLi4...Questions.
