I was just wondering whether anyone else on their M40 laptop has noticed that the AC power connection to the back of the laptop seems to be a fairly loose fit and seems to be able to wiggle left and right...that is, I would have thought it would be a much tighter fit ?

Well, think again, I have yet to see a notebook with a solid AC plug.

My AC connection is also loose such that it can wiggle back and forth. I guess this is normal.

Oh, I just re-read my reply, and sorry if I sounded rude, that wasn't my intention :) I wasn't paying attention.

thats cool no probs at all....i actually went to a couple of places that sold the M40 and noticed that they also had a similar issue with the looseness of the ac connection.

You may look at it as a good thing. Imagine tripping over the power supply cable. Thanks to loose connection the laptop won't get knocked down from the table :)) Only the power cable plug would come down :))
I have never noticed that fact but I think it had to be done this way. You never turn your M40 around to plug in the cord. The connection has to be a bit "loose", in my opinion.
