Either roll back the drivers (one by one) that you updated via Device Manager until you nail down the culprit, use System Restore, or recover yor machine with a previous image backup that you have created.

I'm not sure what the first part of you question refers to. Excuse my ignorance. As far as which driver may have disabled the F-N buttons, I have not a clue which drivers you updated. Nor do I know what machine you are having problems with (other than it is a Toshiba).

My model is in the title of the post.... and I was hoping for some help from someone who might have had the same thing TVAC is a Toshiba program and so is Eco mode so I'm not sure how to roll them back since they aren't in the device manager....

Sorry...I didn't notice the machine in the title.

Can you use System Restore? It is basically the same as rolling back drivers.

I have the P56X and have updated the firmware to 3.0 as well as did a clean install of Win7 64bit on an SSD and installed the drivers/programs from Toshiba individually. I have the FN buttons working so I'm not sure what happened to the others. I'll try to dig up the post which helped me follow through with reinstalling some of the Toshiba's software.

Ok, here is the list I followed. There's actually more software than this but this is all I have done so far after my clean install on an SSD. Basically, I installed Win7 and went on from 6.1 to 6.14 of list.

I wonder if the FN buttons only work in 64 Bit? You are lucky to have the FN button working. When I press it nothing happens at all,no icons on screen like before with 64 Bit.I'm using 32 Bit now and because there is no Toshiba Value Added Package for 32 Bit,I wonder if this software contains the FN button driver?

If anyone knows where to get Toshiba Value Added Package 32 Bit that may fix this problem, please let me know thanks.

Have you tried Toshiba's own forums? There are official Toshiba reps there, maybe they can answer you better. It's pretty slow there and there's better help here but maybe the FN issue is indeed the TVAP 64bit vs lack of 32bit software.
