I have Toshiba M105-S3004 with ethernet adapter problem. Now my laptop using Windows XP Media Center 2005 bundle OS.

I'm installing new windows, my ethernet adapter is fine & no problem with network connected.
After some times OS restarting & disconnecten network cable, that ethernet adapter is missing, not found on device manager...
If LAN setting on BIOS disable and logon OS, after restarting and enabled again LAN setting and logon again on OS, ethernet adapter found & good working on network... but after some times turn off & on again ethernet adapter is missing again...

I've already to change my OS from WinXP Home Edition, MCE 2005 & WinXP Pro, but still meet this problem.

    I'm should BIOS upgrade?
    Anybody can help me?

My first (and only at the moment :) ) guess would be that the BIOS is sometimes turning off LAN when you boot up.

I checked out the Toshiba page and there are many many BIOS updates for your laptop fixing many many problems. I didn't happen to see this problem listed, but I didn't read the full list. Which BIOS version are you using?
