I just bought an M305 from Office Depot: http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/435795/Toshiba-Widescreen-Notebook-Computer-With-Duo/

I really like the notebook so far, I actually like it much better than the XPS M1330 that it is replacing.

My only complaint, and it is a big one, is the battery life. With the brightness set at "Level 5" and just doing some web browsing with about 5 windows open, the battery lasts at most 1.5 hours. In fact, I unplugged it at 9:22PM, it is now 10:35 PM, and the battery is at 10%.

This seems horrible to me, I have never had a new laptop die that fast. Is this a known problem on the M305? Can anyone explain this?

I was also considering the U405, is the battery life on that better? The M305 was 100$ cheaper, so I went that route, but the battery life is so bad, I will have to return this if I can't fix it.

Thanks for the input! I have been using NotebookReview for a long time to research my purchases, you guys are great!
