I have a Toshiba Satellite M30X and the buttons to control the media player dont do anything. The user manual say the should: Stop, play/pause , foreward track, and backward track, and open media player...but the buttons do absolutley nothing when i press them. Can anyone help me with this? I saw someone else had this problem in a forum and fixed it, but they never said what they did to fix it.
    Thanks for the help.
    Have a happy christmas

the buttens require a small utility , if you removed or disabled it by accident they will not work , use your utility cd to install it again ( something like thotkey ?! ) but first check msconfig boot to see if its just disabled .

Thanks a ton! I had to reinstall those drivers off the recovery CD and now everything works. These forums rock, you were lots of help.
