I find my LCD display to be sharp and bright with static images, however, with DVD play "ghosting" is present with moving objects (indicative of low response time LCD displays).

I've seen DVD play on a P30 and it was brilliant. The best picture quality I have ever witnessed on an LCD display, or any display for that matter, very smooth and sharp.

I believed the displays where similar on all the Toshiba Satellite models. Any feedback appreciated.

    Thanks

I didn't notice any unnatural ghosting on my M40's display, it's bright and sharp during DVD playback.

Perhaps it's your player that doesn't decode DVDs properly? Just an idea.
