I just bought a Toshiba m45 notebook a few weeks ago with Centrino M750, 1 GB Ram and 100gb hd and was wondering if it is normal for the laptop screen lid to make a "creak" sound when you either open or close it? Thanks :(

It's not really normal, but it's probably just that the hinge is tight. It might loosen up over time. Just don't go squirting WD40 in there.

So there's nothing i can do about it? Also, i noticed that when i press down on the top of the lid on the screen side, it bends a bit away from the screen. Is that also not normal? I would really like to know, thanks for the help!
