    I need help here.
I have made a down payment for a fairly used Toshiba M45-265 laptop which was what I could get here in Nigeria but i'm thinking that it may not be good enough for 3D modelling and animation because of the integrated graphics card it has. I'm getting it for the equivalent of $1000. Do you think I should go on with it?
    The specs are
    512MB RAM
    80 GB HD
    DVD/CD Writer
    W/LAN
    Intel Pentium M

Well, its a very good computer, but not the best you can get for 1000 US dollars...It's probally one of the best that you can get in Nigeria for that price since everything is more expensive there. So I say go with it. :)

I would search around for some better notebooks - you can probably do better than that for $1000USD. I would fill out our Notebook FAQ in the "What Should I Buy" section.
