I saw the new M45 at Fry's in San Diego on 1/19. Looked pretty sharp with 15.4" TruBrite widescreen display. I believe it is based on the new Intel Sonoma chipset. This could be the 1st notebook out there with the 915 Express.

    Anybody have a review?

I'm looking to buy one of these by the end of February. Will be interessting to see how it does. Hopefully there will be some reviews out by then.

At first I wanted to get the A75-S231 and after reading bad things about it I kind of got scared away from it.

My biggest issue is the warranty. I would like to purchase extended warranty. I live in Canada and work in the US for about half of the year I need one that's covered in both countries.

How good is the Toshiba one? Is it international?

It is portable, but I would not call it light. It's a 15.4" display for crying out loud.

As for TOshiba One, I'm not sure. You should probably call support to make sure you know before making a decision.

The Toshiba M45S351 is at Circuit City's now and Amazon, of course. It looks pretty good with the 1.7 Sonoma chip and I would think graphics decent, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900, 128mb shared video memory. It will be a definite must to up, up RAM, to at least 1 gb. Weight is just ok at 6.3 and biazare for this chip, battery only about 3 hrs. You do have a 100 gb hd, quite nice.

I am comparing it for purchase with the new Sony Vaio FS models that also use the Sonoma chip - don't like limitations they have on RAM expansion but do really like the Vaio screens (unblievable) and to a lesser extent, the dual layer drive.
