    M55-s325 wont power up from power button

    I have a very nice lappy and it has always worked until today.
    I plugged in the power adapter and pushed the start button and got nothing. The power light is on the adapter is new. It does nothing when i try to start it. It was fine last week. Please if someone has an idea. I need the help. the power light on the laptop is on so it is getting power. could it be the on button itself?
