    Hey All,
Just got my new Tosh M55-S329 with a mist gray cover. My questionis: what type of ram can I put inthis sucker. I only know that it has 1x512 but am unsure as to what type or speed it is.

Here are the specs of my machine:
    Centrino 750 1.86
    100g 5400hd
    ect... ect...

Also what brand has worked for you?
    Thanks

Hey goddo, the type of RAM you need is PC2700 DDR 333MHz 200 pin SODIMM. From what I understand, in your model, you cannot remove the standard 512 MB. Here is the information off of Kingston's website:

    Standard Memory: 512MB (Non-removable)

    Maximum Memory: 1.5GB

Expansion: 1 Socket for an SODIMM
    1 Slot for SecureDigital (SD)

I'm not sure how to upgrade the RAM in your case. I have a Toshiba M60 and it just had two slots that both took PC4200 200 pin DDR2 533 MHz RAM, but I am sure someone else here can steer you on what exactly you would need to do to upgrade it.

    Matt

Unremovable ram what gives. I hope that is not the case. I hope it is located under the keyboard or something to that effect.

    Thanks fo the info.
