Hey guys, well the screen just went completely black. I cannot see any image using a flashligh like if the backlight went out. It worked fine one day, nothing the next. I hooked it up to an external monitor, which is what I am using this very moment, and it works fine. So does anyone have a way to tell if it is the inverter board, or if the lcd just "died"? I've scoured every article I can find and things were pointing me to the lcd. If that's the case, it's time for a new lappy.

    Thanks!

    Matt

the only way you can test it with anythey black light if you got anythey laptop you can temp hook the invert up to back light other one see if power one in other laptop if so you back light is good

I done this before you just have put the laptop very close remove high voltage and make sure it not on surface that it will sort out

if you zap youself with it not my fault
    it extremly high voltages
