Hi, Can the M70 SR6 with Ati X700 256mb use ATI drivers posted on the ATI site or do we have to rely on Toshiba to continually update them for us? I know some notebooks can't use the direct ATI drivers.

    Thanks for any info

I would do a search for Omega drivers and then download the drivers for ATI. They are continually updated, and they have many versions of them out there. They are better drivers and made my 3dMark05 score go up about 100 just by using them instead of the drivers that came from Toshiba.

I have been using the omega drivers with mine without problems.

The only trouble I have is when I try to run the ATI Tray tools extended desktop. That doesnt sem to work (Crashes). I use the windows XP extended desktop instead and that works fine.
