This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     M800 intermittently won't shutdown

    I'm having an issue where my Portege M800 is restarting on its own after shutdown.

    I'm running Vista. Telling it to shutdown, not hibernate, restart or sleep. Network adapters are set NOT to wake on LAN activity.

    Any ideas?
