Okay, I finally got memory for my Toshiba M35X-S149 Laptop...After alot of research and what I could afford I got the Centon 512mb pc2700 333 memory...It seemed it was in their memory configurator that it was compatible and it was on sale at CompUsa for 60.00 AR. Anyway now before I install this i forgot to ask if I can put this in with the 256 memory that came with the laptop or do I pull it as this new one is a 512mb and it came with 256...I thought you could only do 2 modules of the same size...but some of the postings seem to have people saying you can have 256 and 512 in there together...I'm going to pull it for now as I don't want to screw it up but can I put this back in if you can use both.
    Thanks
    Robin

You can use memory of different sizes at the same time. As long as the memory is compatible in the system, it should work fine. If by chance the memory is not compatible, it just won't work together. Just pull out the 256MB module and your set. No harm done.
