Not sure what is going on with my Satellite A26-S279!!

I was tryin to hit the shortcut button for the volume and I think F1 lock up the computer. No biggie... a reboot bypassed that.
Now when I boot up I get to the Windows screen but the touchpad does not work. I can't move the mouse at all. I do not have access to obtaining USB mouse at this point in time. Is there something I can do to get the touchpad back??

    Please help!
    Thanks!!!

Well since you don't have an USB mouse that you could attach, you will have to insert and make a fresh copy of Windows XP that will restore all the drivers for your hardware. Otherwise, if you find a USB mouse than you can just rollback/update the touchpad driver.

Windows - The operating system that runs the world.

Toshiba - Quality, price, and features!

just go to toshiba setup in the control panel where you can enable/disable the touch pad , check driver , check startup etc .

You can get along the menues without the mouse by using key combinations until you get it to work .
