    Hey there,

Just popped over from the 'Toughbook' side to ask you guys a quick question if that's OK?

I dropped in to see my Dad today and tells me he wants to increase the memory on his Satellite (SA30-203) from 256K up to whatever he can fit in there....but he can't find any info on what RAM he needs?

If possible, would any of you guys know what type of RAM this machine is running?

    Many thanks for any help,

    MM.

    Thats the laptop right?

It should take 200-Pin DDR SO-DIMM(DDR2 ram will not fit in laptop that takes DDR memory). Look for some DDR PC2700 ram(the laptop probably has PC2100 ram in it but DDR speeds are backware compatible). Check the Hot ram deals thread for DDR ram(towards the bottom of the first post).

Many thanks for that - I really appreciate your help....

I'll pass this info onto my Dad.

    Thanks again,

    MM.
