    I have a toshiba p25 s676 and would like to upgrade the memory. It has 512 pc2700 and I would like to change the amount and the speed. Is that possable?

    You would probably be able to change the amount but no likely the speed because manufacturers usually put the fastest speed of ram that the motherboard can handle.

    It depends on the chipset. Since P25 is Pentium4 based notebook, you can upgrade your RAM up to pc3200. But bear in mind, you'll notice very-very insignificant difference between pc2700 and pc3200. If i were you, i just opt for pc2700 and will max the capacity of the ram. For example, i will buy 2gb pc2700 over 2gb pc3200 if the price diff. is large.

    i u still have a fre solt of RAM..jusr upgrade the value of RAM not speed..
